A domain name is your "address" on the Internet, i.e.
You must be registered with interNic and there are various companies on the web
that will do this per your instructions. You can do this
yourself, with the help of your Internet Service Provider, or if you would like, I can help you with this.
A domain name gives you a permanent address on the internet. This means
that if you change your internet provider or web host your internet address will
stay the same, even if you should move to another area, another state or out of
the country.

A single web page is similar to a 8 1/2 by 11 inch printer sheet of paper. This is not exact size as it can be shorter or longer.

There is no limit to the number of pictures that can be put on a web page,
but keep in mind that this page is approximately 8 1/2 by 11 inches so it will
depend on the size of the pictures. Also, the more pictures on a page the
longer the download time and it is important to not lose the interest of your
viewers due to lengthy download time.
When you are trying to decide whether to add "bells and whistles"
such as animations, videos, JavaScript's, java applets, shockwave, etc. on your
site you should consider the following. There are many browsers out there
that aren't equipped to view all these goodies, some of these "bells and
whistles" require "plug ins" that people don't have or don't care
to download to their computers and they also substantially increase the load
time for your web site. Many people don't like to wait for long downloads
and will click out of your site. It's best to use this "cool"
stuff sparingly. Keep in mind that most visitors are coming to your site
for information, not necessarily to see waving, flashing, bouncing things that
take away from the content.
The time frame for your web site design depends on the number of
graphics, the size and complexity of the site. Once you have put
together all your web site information and it is ready to begin the actual
designing ejh Web Creations will give you an estimated completion
date.
The internet is called the Great Equalizer
because any size company can look and operate like a Fortune 100 leader. A
web site is the lowest cost form of advertising that reaches a huge audience
seven days a week 24 hours a day. The internet never closes!
